Sheila Mikhail, J.D., M.B.A., Founder / CEO. Ms. Mikhail is also a founder of Life Sciences Law, PLLC, Asklêpios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. and several university spin-outs.   She has over 20 years experience in commercialization of technology, management consulting and corporate law.

Roger Hajjar, Ph.D., M.D., Scientific Founder / Collaborator.  Dr. Hajjar is the Director of Cardiovascular Research at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and has previously served as an associate professor at Harvard Medical School and as a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Evangelia Kranias, Ph.D., Scientific Founder / Collaborator.  Dr. Kranias is the Director of Cardiovascular Biology in the Department of Pharmacology and Cell Biophysics at the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Distinguished University Research Professor.

Jude Samulski, Ph.D., Scientific Founder / Collaborator.  Dr. Samulski is the Director of Gene Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He has worked with AAV for twenty-five years.

Gabor Rubanyi, M.D., Ph.D., Founder.  Dr. Rubanyi was the Vice President and Head of the Gene Therapy Department at Berlex Biosciences where he led the preclinical and clinical development of  the Ad5FGF-4  angiogenic gene therapy product through Phase III trials.

William Abraham, M.D. Dr. Abraham is the director of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center and a professor of internal medicine.

Thomas DiSalvo, M.D. Dr. DiSalvo is the chief medical director of the Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute.

Joshua Hare, M.D. Dr. Hare is the chief of the Division of Cardiology and director of the Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

David Kass, M.D. Dr. Kass is a professor of medicine and biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University and a cardiology staff member at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Leslie Miller, M.D. Dr. Miller is the chief of the Integrated Divisions of Cardiology at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center.

Sir Magdi Yacoub, M.D. Sir Yacoub has performed more transplants than any other surgeon in the world. Sir Yacoub is currently the British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Imperial College London (UK) and Founder and Director of Research at The Magdi Yacoub Institute, Heart Science Centre Harefield.
